Golf.   There is a Golf course at St Enodoc and brochures detailing other golf activity centres and courses can be found in the house.

Sailing.   There is plenty of water to sail on and many clubs but you'll find that a lot of the sailing activity is centred around the fashionable estuary town of Rock a short drive from the house.   www.camelsailing.co.uk

Surfing.   There is a number of good surfing beaches in the area, one of the best being Trebarwith Strand which is a five minute walk away.  Others include; Polzeath where there are numerous surfing hire shops, surf schools and plenty of other people (although even at high tide, there is a small beach at Polzeath), Crackington Haven, a smaller place but where - again - there is always a beach, Widemouth Sand towards Bude and the Strangles just south of Crackington Haven.  The Strangles is spectacular and features the ''marbled'' stones you may have seen locally although this is difficult to get to with a long climb/walk down the cliffs.   Other beaches can also be found and some of our favourites are not even marked - have an explore!  Getting to Trebarwith Strand is easy, you can walk straight down the valley (just follow your nose out of the drive and down the road opposite) or you can take the wilder walk down the cliffs (turn left at the cliff path).  However if you are laden with boards, wet suits, buckets spades etc. then you can easily drive down.  There are two car parks close to the beach.  Please note that Trebarwith Strand does not have a beach at high tide although at low tide its beach is the best there is.  Check the tide times before you set off and allow four or five hours either side of low tide to find beautiful sands and surf cleaned and smoothed every day by the sea!  For notes on ''Beaches'' see places to go.
